Get ready, set the timer as this delicious, microwave quinoa porridge will take 5 minutes tops!! To speed things up, this recipe uses the fine flakes of quinoa rather than the whole seeds, as used in the rustic Quinoa Porridge version.
All that’s left to do, is have your favorite fruits, nuts and seeds on stand by. You’ll be serving up a nutritious, fibre-dense breakfast in no time at all.
Top Tip: Don’t forget to keep any left overs to use in breakfast pots throughout the week!
- 2 cups, almond milk
- 1 cup, quinoa flakes
- 1-2 tbs, maple syrup
- In a microwave safe dish place quinoa flakes & almond milk sweetened with maple syrup and heat on a med-high temp for 4-5 minutes
- Remove from microwave and stir through, add in a little extra milk if required and heat for a further 30 seconds
- Serve up in a bowl and and adorn with fruits and nuts
